Rzeszów University of Technology students participated in training courses organized as part of two international projects. Working in an international team allowed students to learn about the specificity of classes at foreign universities, as well as to improve their language competences. These projects are implemented in cooperation with foreign partners in the Erasmus + program.

Training in Estonia (Tartu)

The first training, which took place on April 25-29, 2022 in Tartu, Estonia (Estonian University of Life Sciences), was carried out as part of the DIG-MAN project: "Integration of digital tools into product development and manufacturing education". The event was attended by five students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aviation. Students of our university, together with their friends from partner universities, participated in workshops and lectures conducted by an international team of lecturers. The classes included exercises on the design and technology of products with the use of modern computer tools. Working in an international team allowed students to learn about the specificity of classes at foreign universities. In addition to participants from Poland, the workshop was also attended by employees and students from partner universities: Tartu (Estonia), Kaunas (Lithuania), Stavanger (Norway) and students from Italy.

Training in Greece (Athens)

The second training took place on June 6-10, 2022 in Athens (Greece). Seventeen students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aviation and the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture took part in workshops and lectures conducted by an international team from Rzeszów University of Technology, National Technical University of Athens (Greece), University of Furtwangen (Germany) and Centoform (Italy) . The training was part of the project "EDURES: Technology education in the Digital era supported by the significant use of research results". During the classes, students had the opportunity to learn about the specificity of education based on research, and to discuss new methods of education, research, and developing publications. Students could also improve their language competences. The event was also attended by academics and teachers from the VET center (two people from the Rzeszów University of Technology, two from the universities in Furtwangen, two people from the VET Centoform center in Italy and employees of the host university from Greece), who had the opportunity to improve their teaching skills as part of exercises and lectures as well as cooperation and discussions with teaching staff from abroad. As part of the meeting, it was also possible to discuss further international cooperation. Our students were very pleased with the opportunity to participate in such international events.
